In charge of two pharmacies that share the same space (Oncology infusion and Home Infusion) as well as ambulatory care pharmacist
M-F, 8-5, rotating on-call for home infusion

Job Summary
The Pharmacy Manager directs staff, activities, and processes for multiple teams and/or departmental sub-units with an operational and/or clinical focus. This position is responsible for overseeing the oncology pharmacy, home infusion pharmacy and ambulatory care pharmacist. Applies advanced education, comprehensive knowledge, and experience to guide work. Decisions are frequently guided by a combination of team and departmental goals, program/operational strategies, and standard operating procedures. Accomplishes work through others, beyond making own individual contributions. Performance and results have an impact on costs and achievement of objectives for multiple teams/sub-units or project-based goals and a moderate impact on the overall department. Often manages multiple work groups/teams through or in conjunction with supervisors and leads. Assigns and coordinates work to complete large-scale projects or a very closely related set of projects or activities. Has full accountability for areas under their control. Has latitude to reassign team members within and across teams, to work assignments, shifts or projects to meet objectives.
Works on matters where analysis of issues, data, processes and situations requires the evaluation of multiple factors, including understanding of current business trends in own discipline; often required to apply ingenuity and originality. Requires understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across own department. Works within general guidelines and documented processes; applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems for the work group and/or function within the department; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules and daily goals. Decisions typically related to resources, approach, and tactics for daily operations, cyclical/reoccurring projects, and initiatives involving own departmental area. Cross-department collaboration is often required. Provides input to department policies and leads in implementation and monitoring. May be involved with regulatory preparation and compliance.
Has awareness of daily staffing levels and schedules team or department sub-units. Implements adjustments to staffing ratios according to productivity. Responsible for hiring, promotions, job changes, employee development, performance reviews, and disciplinary action for all employees within the team or department sub-unit. Employees managed regularly apply a wide variety of skills and knowledge, performing moderately complex to complex tasks. Leads and supports teams to make original contributions for the department; works with senior management to assess ideas and build a business case for change. Regularly champions new ideas and leads others in developing a case for change adoption of new concepts, methods and practices.
Collaborates with peers, health plan members, interdisciplinary team members, and leadership within the organization and in the community to identify and resolve complex challenges. Has ownership of special projects, including identifying problems, proposing recommendations, developing project plan, outlining processes, and implementing project plan. Anticipates potential problems and proposes solutions. Identifies areas of opportunity for improvement. Incorporates cross-team integration and collaboration to support project planning and implementation. May serve on or chair multiple committees.
Assists with the preparation and performance of budget for one or more accounting units and/or has input to the operational budget. Accountable for expense management for multiple teams. Has discretion over some expenditures department; can expose the department to limited financial liability. Works with senior management to monitor results.
According to the pharmacys needs, may perform staff pharmacist duties.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Five plus years of experience preferred. Must have a thorough knowledge of drugs and their actions; knowledge of state and local regulations.
License must be in good standing by the State Board of Pharmacy in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position.
