Job Title: Electronic Assembler

Job Description

Electronics/ Server Assembler

1st shift: 7:00am-4:30pm ($18/hour)

2nd Shift: 3:30pm-12am ($21/hour)

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures to assemble computer hardware components.

-Complete tasks as described by production schedules with minimum supervision.

-Work and communicate in a professional manner.

-Achieve departmental work goals.

-Maintain a clean and organized work area.

-Communicate suggestions and feedback to build documents.

-Conduct basic math calculations.

-Record any non-conformances.

-Perform visual quality inspections.

-Load and unload materials onto or from a cart.

-Perform other duties as assigned.

Day-to-day:

-Employee will open up their electronic order tracking system.

-Employee will select the most urgent build and mark it as open task.

-Employee will grab the corresponding parts cart that has all the necessary materials for their build.

-Employee will verify in the system that all correct parts and quantities are on the cart for the build.

-Employee will print off labels for the computer they are about to build.

-Employee will follow step-by-step instructions on the computer screen to assemble the computer or server.

-They will use a torque screwdriver to put the computer together.

-After parts are completed they will put them back on the cart so that another employee can wire the computers.

This is a fully on-site position in LIBERTYVILLE, Illinois.

Work Environment

You will be responsible for building different types of computers and servers for a variety of clients. The entire facility is temperature controlled, very organized, and extremely clean. The culture is awesome. Employees can wear whatever they like and are able to wear headphones during their shift. They have a huge cafeteria with free healthy snacks and drinks.
