Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
1st shift: 7:30am-4:30pm $18
Mid: M-F 11am-8pm $20
2nd: M-F 3:30pm-12am $21
2nd shift trains at 8:30am for up to a month
Day-to-day:
– Receive an order to pick for the assemblers
– Use a cart with a computer (electronic pick sheet) and an RF scanner
– Work from the back of the warehouse to the front as per the pick sheet
– Locate parts on a pallet and scan the barcode
– Apply new barcodes if missing
– Collect all parts for the build and bring them to the assemblers
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Accurately pick, break down (parts and cardboard), and QC orders for production and direct shipping
– Use Chromebook and scanner for inventory control
– Assist other departments with spare parts
– Package and QC systems and parts for shipment
– Check in RMAs and RTVs, reporting damages and discrepancies
– Ensure timely and accurate receipt of products from vendors
– Prepare skids for freight shipment
– Contribute ideas and participate in monthly meetings
– Complete semi-annual inventories and weekly cycle counts
– Handle additional projects or workloads as designated by the manager
– Mandatory overtime during peak times

This is a fully on-site position in LIBERTYVILLE, Illinois.
Work Environment
The facility builds different types of computers and servers for various clients. The entire facility is temperature controlled, very organized, and extremely clean. Employees can wear whatever they like and use headphones during their shift. There is a large cafeteria with free healthy snacks and drinks, a Foosball table, and other activities for breaks. A large TV is available for viewing during break times. The warehouse is very clean and organized.
