Job Description
Overall management and maintenance of the waste tracking and reporting system, including data entry, tracking, and analyzing of all waste related documentation and reporting
Preparation, submission and tracking of all regulatory shipping documents and paperwork, including submission to appropriate State and Federal agencies
Preparation, maintenance, documentation and review of accurate management activities, including inventory reports, shipping papers and regulatory reports, for planning and regulatory compliance
Prepare, submit and disseminate applicable purchase orders to all outside service providers while tracking, monitoring and evaluating invoices and associated costs to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement.
Process and review all invoices and prepare, submit and disseminate applicable chargeback costs for applicable intracompany departments
Track, monitor and evaluate invoices and associated costs to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement.
Prepare, track and submit sold material invoices and work with financial representatives to capture monthly, quarterly and annual sales, savings and avoidance reports
Provide guidance and recommendations for corrective actions, determining and completing follow up items, and ensuring records of inspections and surveys are adequate for regulatory compliance and legal accountability.
Order, track and manage safety, material handling, and office supplies for the entire business unit
Process DEA controlled substance materials via the appropriate systems and submit required paperwork to the appropriate authorities and AbbVie personnel.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and review and update safety protocols, as needed
Regularly lift up to 50 lbs per activity
Climb ladders/stairs and walk on catwalk
Operate power equipment for material handling
Respond to visual warning indicators
Work with chemicals in a hostile weather environment
Occasional continuous standing for more than 3 hours
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED, additional continued education a plus
Computer and database management experience a must
Basic Math, Verbal, Writing and Interpersonal skills required
Initial and Annual refresher training specific to hazards materials management, hazardous waste management required.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of authority, from regulatory agencies to vendor representatives to internal stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail. Ability to read and understand detailed financial instruments, regulatory requirements, operating procedures, instructions and safety requirements
Ability to recognize and exercise team-work qualities and interface with all other positions within the department, as well as outside the department.
Excellent organizational skills. Ability to be a self-starter, work independently on projects to ensure timely completion, as well as work within the department/enterprise
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to conduct somewhat complex business activities, obtain involved information, provide detailed response, handle confidential information

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
