Cook – Madonna Heights Residential Dining

This is a full time Monday – Friday position. The individual will be responsible for lunch and dinner preparation and service for students in a residential facility. This position requires an individual who is responsible, reliable, able to work independently and is dedicated to the community they serve. Will be required to: Determine timing and sequencing of cooking in order to meet deadlines for meal service Performs cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, cleaning of equipment and work areas, dishwashing, on a daily basis Complete temperature logs on a daily basis Perform temperature checks during meal periods to make sure that temperatures comply with state and federal mandated standards Follows sanitation requirements according to state, federal of local safe food handling as prescribed by manager Complies with all requirements of the mandated food handling certification requirements Follows all Whitsons policies and procedures at all times PAYRATE – 19/hour High School graduate or equivalent Must complete all Whitsons required training Servsafe certification Ability to read and speak english in order to understand and perform job assignments Must be proficient in recipe procedures and cooking techniques 1 year professional culinary experience required Always present a positive and professional image Be able to stand on feet for the majority of the work day Lift and move up to 40lbs Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
