The Electrical program delivers one-year certificates and two-year associate degrees in Electrical Construction, Instrumentation, Renewable Energy, and Utility operations.
The Instructional Support Associate will provide the Electrical Construction faculty with instructional support and assistance to maintain and improve the quality of the students educational experience. The Instructional Support Associate is required to perform a variety of duties in the laboratory and has responsibilities as set forth below:
Assist faculty in teaching, demonstrating equipment, and/or observing and assisting students in developing appropriate laboratory techniques (some laboratories are held outside (cold, wind)), on field trips, etc.
Under the supervision of a functional head, be responsible for the care, control/inventory, repair, maintenance, and delivery of functional materials, supplies, and equipment
Maintain accounting/records for functional materials, supplies, and equipment
Supervise student assistants who may be assigned to store, maintain, and deliver supplies, materials, and equipment and provide such instruction as may be appropriate to the successful operation of the function.
Assist faculty and/or staff with preparing, developing, and presenting instructional and/or classroom and laboratory instruction materials.
Job Requirements:
Associates degree in a related field and three years of Electrical Construction experience, or high school diploma and five years of Electrical Construction experience and completion of an Associates degree in a relevant field must be obtained within five years
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience;
Broad-based knowledge and experience in electrical construction and maintenance, renewable energy, and electrical instrumentation and controls.

Starting date: January 13, 2025
Work schedule: Full-time (10 months) Monday – Friday
Salary: $41,328
