ServiceNow Developer
This position is for a ServiceNow Developer who will be in charge of implementing new forms, workflows, flows and/or scripting in order to produce a working process for customer use. A ServiceNow developer is responsible for the ServiceNow platform of an organization, which supports IT service management to automate business processes. The role involves designing, configuring, developing, troubleshooting and implementing baseline and custom applications to enhance the platform.

Expected Responsibilities:

– Will need to learn ServiceNow app development in various areas such as: Service Portal, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM and CMDB
– Will be asked to complete ServiceNow Training (ServiceNow Fundamentals Course) and possibly achieve ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer.
– Develop custom ServiceNow applications using modern web technologies.
– Configure out-of-the-box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows.
– Developing user-friendly catalog items with experience writing orchestration workflows such as Content Management and Web Services.
– Responsible for Discovery and CMDB, including best practices for managing and scaling the CMDB.
– Follow, maintain, and apply documentation best practice policies, procedures, and processes throughout ServiceNow development.
– Must be able to influence and consult including providing options with pros, cons and risks around key technical decisions during design and implementation.
– Strong organizational skills and understanding of Project/Software Management lifecycle.

Education Requirement:
A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field of study.

Required Skills:

– 1-2 years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and desire to learn ServiceNow Platform.
– Knowledge of web-based protocols and standards (Web services, SOAP, REST, WSDL, JSON, XML).
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to be a self-starter, pay strict attention to detail and multitask across multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
– Proven team player and team builder.
