ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Strategic Communications Specialist to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide organizational and mass communications consulting to organizational leaders, members, and stakeholders at unclassified and classified levels. Design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communications materials and media. Create and implement communications plans to gain employee buy-in of client initiatives. Draft and edit internal and enterprise-wide news and information to inform the clients workforce, including regular newsletters, announcements, leadership messages, and articles. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of junior employees. Support updates, development and implementation of the Governments Communications Strategy to ensure consistent, relevant, accurate, and tailored, timely communications with internal and external stakeholders. Develop and implement strategies and plans Prepare and submit weekly activity reports Facilitate Senior Staff Meetings, Program Review Boards (PRB) and Senior Management Group (SMG) meetings. Support planning and facilitation of events to support the Government Communications Strategies and Plans. These events shall include: town hall meetings, all hand meetings, brown bag workshops, off-sites, family day and official outreach events. Coordinate with the Government for proper review prior to dissemination of all strategic products. Support design, development and implementation of SAO communications products Strategies and Plans. These products include: Presentations, with supporting audiovisual briefing aids. Presentation types may range from project plans and status reports, to survey results, to operations highlights, to all hand presentation to tours for visitors. Government announcements, newsletters, articles, operations highlights Talking points, fact sheets, brochures, posters and other print products Speeches for government seniors New media and multimedia content, including video, video scripts and story boards, digital signage, diversity and inclusion Exhibits and displays. Comply with Government Brand Style Guide and other strategic communication products style guides when creating communication products Coordinate with stake holders to gather inputs for and ensure information accuracy of strategic communications products Assist with educational, awareness, and orientation programs, to ensure messaging is consistent with Government strategies, branding, and quality standards. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree or 7 or more years of relevant experience Experience in communications or public relations Experience developing and implementing strategic communications plans Ability to interact professionally with senior government leaders Ability for possible travel up to 25% of the time Preferred Master’s DegreeSecurity Clearance Requirement: Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required. Physical Requirements: Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
