Your Role
Youll act as a subject matter expert (SME) in the field of United States customs services and support customs development through managing the growth of customs services within the assigned area. The goal of the position is to increase customs market share within the area, thereby exponentially growing all aspects of customs revenue streams. Youll be responsible for development of product offerings and drive the customs business unit (BU) with a go-to-market strategic plan for growth.
Your Responsibilities
Full time, focused effort on customs product growth, strategy and development.
Manage area pipeline of all customs related opportunities, ensuring proper allocation of resources.
Analyze pipeline data to quickly capitalize on opportunities.
Manage/coordinate all area customs tenders.
Deliver sales training to increase area sales team customs brokerage product knowledge.
Travel (up to 50% domestically) as required in support of customer engagements and growth objectives aligned with Key Account Managers and BU sales.
Develop and deliver client outreach educational content.
Develop and deliver internal sales value proposition subject matter.
Maintain high level knowledge of both USA and overall global trade policy.
Deliver required growth target.
Your Skills and Experiences
Minimum 7 Years combined customs brokerage related operational and client facing experience (business development/senior entry writer/supervisor).
BS Degree.
Has an understanding of global supply chain and related logistics services which KuehneNagel operate within.
Licensed customs broker (preferred but not required).
Excellent written and oral communications skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Direct experience in working with commercial teams in closing new business whilst partnering with various internal key account and sales teams.
Understands retention process and successful execution of on-boarding, and QBR processes.
Delivering value proposition to both small and medium enterprise opportunities and key account opportunities.
Remain current with USA Government trade policy and client impact.
Develop solutions to any disruption created by USA and/or global trade policy.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
