Manages and provides technology support for the student information system (SIS) and customer relationship management (CRM) system utilized by the ministry’s colleges. Ensures technologies are performing optimally and enabling organizational strategic goals around student recruitment, admissions, graduation and employment. Operate as part of the college’s “applications team” and serve staff, faculty and students. Lead or contribute to related projects. This is a hybrid role requiring 1-2 days of onsite/in-person support each week, remaining days may be ‘work-from-home’ (with supervisor permission).
Essential Job Functions:
· Administers and supports SIS and related technologies (e.g. integrations with other systems).
· Leads implementation, upgrade, integration and enhancement projects, to include leading conference calls & meetings, task tracking, support document creation, and status communication as directed.
· Builds relationships with users/customers and responds in an effective, timely and polite manner to service requests.
· Works with Information & Technology (I&T) staff and vendor support to manage resolution of incidents and requests.
· Provides in-person and remote support for colleges. Occasionally participates in issue resolution or upgrades that occur afterhours.
· Works with I&T and customers to actively promote and implement standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization plans as directed.
· Assists with the collection, analysis and reporting of data as requested by customers to support accreditation, regulatory, and decision making requests.
·Monitors SIS security, integrity and privacy.
·Supports business continuity planning (BCP).
Essential Qualifications:
Three years general information technology experience
Database (SQL) experience
Associates Degree required, Bachelor preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
Five years general information technology experience
Three years experience in a higher education environment
Prior experience working with a student information system
Prior experience working with a customer relationship management (CRM) solution
Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Prior experience with Anthology products
