Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Cyber Security Director to join our team supporting NSWC Corona Range Systems Department to manage Cyber Security efforts for the Naval Integrated Training Environment (NITE) contract. This position will work from a combined location, part-time at a ManTech office located in Hampton Roads, VA, and from a government facility at Dam Neck, VA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Reports directly to the Task Order Program Manager; will be a manager of managers. Manages a team of ManTech and sub-contractor support personnel supporting the NITE contract cyber security operations. Coordinates with RS20E, Enterprise Services Manager & RS20T Operations Manager and NCTE Program Manager for Team daily/weekly and long-range work assignments and support requirements. Establishes and administers the overall strategies and procedures for the cybersecurity function. Develops and implements cyber security program in accordance with DoD standards. Evaluates cyber security risks on a regular basis and promotes cyber security awareness within the organization. Creates cyber security strategies and objectives and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support cyber security infrastructure. Enforces work standards, assigns applicable contractor schedules, reviews work discrepancies, supervises contractor personnel, and communicates policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. Supports a team environment based on mutual respect and teamwork, dedicated to innovation and effective, efficient work practices. Supports the Task Order Program Manager in providing overall excellent contract performance to the client as outlined by CPAR. Applies analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of workflow, organization, and planning. Collects, reviews, and analyzes information to make recommendations to the government. Reports findings and recommendations to the government. Reports are usually submitted in writing, but oral presentations regarding findings also are common. Tracks deliverables to provide required improvements and to correct service deficiencies, improve support, and produce cost savings where possible. Works closely with NSWC Corona RS management team and NITE contract team in an integrated product team environment. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field 7 years of information technology experience with DoD efforts 5 years of managerial experience with DoD efforts Experience managing dispersed workforce in support of securing an integrated network Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Information Technology or related field Familiarity with the United States Navy Experience with ManTech management and financial systems Experience with NSWC Corona RS Division Clearance Requirements: Top Secret Physical Requirements: 10% travel anticipated Work will require movement from ManTech site to government for client meetings and support functions The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which will involve delivering presentations.
