Project Analyst

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Analyst to join our team in the Newport News, VA.Job Summary: Provide planning and execution support to the Combat Systems, Operations, Navigation and Weapons Departments and associated SF Production Teams.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide assistance at the Divisional/Work Center level as well as all Ship’s Force Production Teams in developing work schedules, maintenance plans, equipment lay-up and start-up plans as applicable Track and provide metrics for the Combat Systems, Operations, Navigation, Weapons Departments SFWP with special emphasis on Systems testing Monitor and assist Combat Systems, Operations, Navigation, Weapons Departments with progression towards Key Event Completion Assist SFWPST Habitability representative in executing the Habitability Work Package for Combat Systems, Operations, Navigation, Weapons Departments Provide Planning and execution support to the Warfare IPT for all Combat Systems issues relative to applicable Key Events Monitor and assist as necessary to accomplish all Combat Systems testingMinimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 8 years of experience with aircraft carrier maintenance and operations Experience with project, program, or business analysisPreferred Qualifications: Experience with combat systems in the Navy, Coast guard, or merchant marines Project / program management experience. Former U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer, Chief Warrant Officer, or Limited Duty OfficerClearance Requirements: U.S. Citizenship is required and an active Secret clearancePhysical Requirements: Office work may require the employee to be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
