Job Title: Water Treatment Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Water Treatment Technician to join our team. The position involves working 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week, typically from 6 am to 6 pm. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling, which is communicated via email on Saturdays. A minimum of 6 months of experience within the oil field is mandatory. Safeland/OSHA 10 certifications are a plus but not required, as certification will be provided if necessary. All personal protective equipment (PPE) such as flame-resistant (FR) clothing, safety goggles, and hard hats will be provided. Steel-toed boots are required.
Hard Skills
Laying and picking up poly line, lay flat hose, running transfer pumps, and essential equipment for water transfer operations.
Loading and unloading pipe, field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks for safe transport.
Observing machine operations, and gauges, and adjusting controls to maintain specified conditions.
Setting and servicing pumps and generators at job sites.
Using common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
Driving trucks and other vehicles to transport equipment and personnel.
Soft Skills
Following all safety procedures and using proper PPE as required per specific job task.
Assisting in containment and spill clean-ups.
Communicating with other workers using signals, radios, and telephones.
Attending and successfully completing training as directed for DOT, OSHA, and safety.
Other duties as assigned by management or supervisors.
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Littleton, West Virginia.
Work Environment
This position is outdoors on frac pads, requiring candidates to work around the clock in various weather conditions, including rain or shine. Ideal candidates are located in or near Washington, Wheeling, WV, with job sites located in Wheeling, Washington, Steubenville, and Moundsville.
