Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Cyber Security Engineer/ Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)-Senior to join our team! In this role you will get to maintain operations within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) supporting the Ground Based Mid-Course Defense Program Office (GMD).
What Youll Be Doing:
Senior member of the cybersecurity team, develop system Security Plans (SSPs), Interim Authority to Test (IATT), Authority to Connect (ATC) and, Authority to Operate (ATO) packages.
Establish strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports for obtaining certification and accreditation of systems. This includes process support, analysis support, coordination support, security certification test support, security documentation support, investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections, and periodic audits.
Perform technical work utilizing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process including analyzing and solving Information Assurance (IA)-related technical problems.
Perform analysis to validate established security requirements and recommends additional security requirements and safeguards where required.
Periodically conduct a review of each system’s audit and monitors corrective actions to closure.
Ensure system security artifacts are developed, reviewed, and updated as needed.
Confirm RMF requirements are properly addressed and required artifacts are loaded and managed within Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
Interface with other cyber teams to review RMF Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and ensure timely delivery of CDRL artifacts, while providing feedback to ensure the sufficiency and quality of cyber artifacts.
Lead vulnerability/risk analyses of systems using expertise in relevant information systems security.
Lead, mentor, and provide guidance and instructional aide to Associate and Junior ISSOs.
Plays a role in overall functional strategic planning.
Track and monitor Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
Conduct reviews of cybersecurity artifacts and technical briefings and work with customer to resolve any findings.
Ensure that identified security controls are implemented and operating as intended through all phases of the lifecycle.
What Required Skills Youll Bring:
M.S. STEM Degree and 12 years of related professional experience.
Active Secret Clearance.
DoD 8570 compliant IAM Level II certification (Sec ).
Significant experience with DoDs RMF and SSP processes.
Experience Managing Technical Projects.
Previous Leadership and Management Experience.
What Desired Skills Youll Bring:
IAM Level III (CISSP, CISM).
Experience Managing Cyber Task Orders (CTOs) reporting, mitigation, and compliance.
Experience in the Missile Defense Agency.
Ability to coach and develop junior team members.
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
Secret

Salary Range:
$117,000.00 – $210,600.00
