Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented IDT Product Engineer to join our team! The Phased Array Antenna (PAA) In-Flight Interceptor Communication System Data Terminal (IDT) Product Engineer will work as a technical staff member of the GMN team supporting IDT engineering, development, test, and deployment/fielding activities.

What Youll Be Doing:

Assist the Government IDT Product Lead in developing/evaluating requirements and verification criteria, defining build content and test/deployment strategies/schedules, reviewing objective evidence/project documentation, identifying issues/risks and mitigations/solutions, and tracking technical and programmatic details of PAA IDT hardware and software development builds/projects.

Coordinate PAA IDT product integration with other GFCC products (fire control/battle management, fire control network/cybersecurity system, and launch support system), GMD Next Generation Interceptor (NGI), MDA Real Property Investments & Deployments (MSR), and other Missile Defense System stakeholders.

Participate in the technical evaluation of contract proposals.

Support IDT Product Lead/IDT engineers in employing a DevSecOps /digital engineering approach for IDT projects.

Assist the Government in preparation, conduct, and after-action responsibilities for System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), project status reviews, test and acceptance events, fielding readiness reviews, and operational readiness reviews.

Develop and present technical reports and briefings as required, including support to the Engineering Review Boards (ERB), other Stakeholder coordination, and Operational Capacity Baseline (OCB) approval process.

Evaluate Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables and prepare responses to Task Management Tracker (TMT) action items.

​ What Required Skills Youll Bring:

Masters degree in Engineering, Physics, or related STEM discipline and 12 years of relevant experience.

Active Secret clearance is required.

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Candidate must be confident in his/her ability to work across a vast organizational structure to effectively communicate complex technical issues.

What Desired Skills Youll Bring:

Direct experience in digital engineering/ DevSecOps development projects is desired.

Experience in MDA.

Experience with MDA Boards.

5 years direct experience in missile/radio frequency (RF) communication systems.

Secret

Salary Range:

$117,000.00 – $210,600.00
