Job Description:

At Regions, the Mortgage Home Loan Direct Center Phone Representative works within the Home Loan Direct Center making outbound phone calls. Engages existing and potential customers to communicate information concerning current loans, as well as determine future financing needs for mortgage products. Works to uncover possible new or enhanced business opportunities then refers customer to a Mortgage Loan Officer to further discuss mortgage products and services.

Primary Responsibilities

Makes outbound phone calls to both existing and potential new customers

Communicates information concerning current loans and determines future financing needs for mortgage products with a set standard

Discusses Regions products and services with existing and potential customers

Meets or exceeds production goals, primarily by converting leads into qualified referrals resulting in closed mortgage loans

Uses effective sales and outbound telephone techniques to build client relationships and uncover product and service needs

Provides excellent customer service skills while following all marketing and compliance guidelines established by the corporation

Completes all required documentation

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED

Six (6) months in customer service, sales, banking or a related field

Preferences

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree

One (1) year experience in a sales related field

Skills and Competencies

Ability to manage a high volume of outbound phone calls

Ability to work as a team and work with internal and external customers

Efficient time management and organizational skills

Excellent verbal communication skills

Proficient computer skills

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

Minimum:

$36,500.00 USD

Median:

$40,000.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a commission incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn commission based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
