About the Position
Reviews, analyzes, evaluates and maintains the organizations telecommunications system.
Responsibilities:
Provides expert and creative solutions to user problems concerning a full range of technical and complex communications requirements ensuring maximum network availability.
Designs, develops, and tests telecommunications software solutions.
Provides customer training of the telecommunications features and functionality.
Troubleshoots and repairs broken telephones and ships equipment to vendor for repair.
Coordinates implementation with telecommunications providers, long distance carriers and hardware vendors for all locations, including new installations, moves, adds, changes, new lines, disconnects, and feature changes.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
College degree preferred.
Norstar, Meridian, or Mitel certification preferred.
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
2-4 years IT experience.
Nortel, Mitel, Avaya PBX experience.
Vendor Management experience preferred.
Norstar Manager and Remote tools experience preferred.
Excellent MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access skills.
Experience with project management software.
Visio and Norstar experience preferred.
