Payroll Coordinator Hybrid Work ScheduleBuffalo, NY&nbsp;&nbsp;Merchants Insurance Group is a leading Property and Casualty Insurer in the Northeast and is looking for an experienced Payroll Coordinator for our Human Resources team located in Buffalo, NY.&nbsp;The Payroll Coordinator will become part of a dedicated Human Resources team focusing on the accurate recording and distribution of wages through Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) payroll software.&nbsp;Assists the Human Resources team with a wide variety of administrative tasks. The Hybrid work schedule requires 8 full days per month in the office, with the option to work the remaining days at home or in the office. This exciting Hybrid Work benefit offers colleagues a flexible work schedule with the ability to remain connected with their Merchants team and colleagues.&nbsp;&nbsp;Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Receives and verifies all employee status changes, time sheets and time records for payroll processing on a bi-weekly basis.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensures proper submission of time sheets by working with managers on corrections and submissions.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Bi-weekly payroll processing includes but not limited to new hire and termination information, rate changes, standard overtime/overtime and exception hours, 401(k) elections/loans, insurance deductions, garnishments, and employment/mortgage verifications. Inputs special payments such as bonuses into the payroll system.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assists Human Resources department with a variety of tasks including the maintenance of employee files.&nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Skills:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent work-related experience.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Certified Payroll Professional designation helpful &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;2 3 years payroll experience.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;1 2 years previous Human Resource experience.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;UKG or other payroll and reporting platform required. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Good mathematical aptitude.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Organizational, written and verbal communication skills.&nbsp;&nbsp;<p class=”ql-al
