TITLE:Investment Portfolio ManagerCOMPANY:Honeywell Capital Management LLCDUTIES: Honeywell Capital Management LLC is seeking an Investment Portfolio Manager for our Morris Plains, NJ location. Responsible for: Fixed income investment portfolio management, including serving as portfolio manager of internally managed Emerging Markets portfolio; Fixed Income Credit Opportunities portfolio for the U.S. pension and a similar strategy for the Honeywell UK pension plan. The portfolio manager’s role is to identify investment opportunities in emerging market countries to maximize returns and manage risks against standard market benchmark fixed income indices. Conduct individual country/company/security analysis including financial projections, asset/security valuation, as well as micro and macroeconomic and market analysis; assess relative value trade ideas and risk hedging needs. Also, execute buy/sell securities trades across various fixed income asset classes and portfolios. Communication: produce research reports/presentations as needed and participate regularly on investor calls; Attend industry conferences, meet with company managements, brokers, bank analysts to gain deeper insight into existing and potential investments; Corporate governance / compliance (e.g. quarterly portfolio guideline compliance reports, review external investment service providers, etc.); and client communications (e.g. internal stakeholders within Honeywell such as Retirement Plan Committee, Pension Investment Committee reporting and presentations).REQUIREMENTS:Qualified applicants will possess a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance, or related field and six (6) years of fixed income investment portfolio management experience, with primary focus on emerging markets. Full term of experience must include: managing a portfolio of securities invested in global fixed income markets, with a proven track record of outperforming market benchmarks; working in Bloomberg PORT Enterprise system/ software; macroeconomics, domestic politics and geopolitics; strong knowledge of financial asset classes and investment concepts; portfolio construction, risk measurement/management, forecasting with econometric models/ software, and performance attribution techniques; identifying problems, designing and articulating solutions; and implementing change. Up to 10% international and domestic travel is required. Telecommuting permitted up to two times per week.OTHER:Job Site: Morris Plains, NJ; 40 hours/week; $292,427/year.
