responsibilities:

Trade Surveillance Data Engineering role will be responsible for assisting with the technology planning, delivery and embedding of a new third-party Trade Surveillance solution in US/EMEA. The successful candidate will be able to leverage their expertise with relevant international regulations such as MAD/MAR and the regulatory environment within capital markets. The candidate should have broad experience in technology delivery, ideally including the implementation of third-party and cloud-hosted solutions. The role will also cover tactical enhancements to existing solutions and rationalization of the trade surveillance estate, there may also be opportunities to work across other surveillance solutions.

Required:

– Data Analysis, Business Analysis, Advanced SQL, Hadoop & HIVE

– Broad experience in technology delivery

– Expertise with relevant international regulations such as MAD/MAR and the regulatory environment within capital markets

– Banking, Compliance experience and good understanding of Trade Life cycle

– Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Nice to have:

– Spark, Scala, Python, ETL

– Implementation of third-party and cloud-hosted solutions

qualifications:

Experience level: Experienced

Minimum 5 years of experience

Education: Bachelors

Professional Engineer

SQL (5 years of experience is required)
