About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Operational Risk Senior Manager in Operational Risk Management as part of the Technology and Information Security Risk Management (TISRM) group. TISRM is a 2nd line of Defense function responsible to oversee 1st line of Defense for Technology, Information Security, and Strategy, Digital & Innovation. This role is a part of the TCOO and EFT Technology Risk Oversight Leadership team and will report to the Head of Technology Risk Management for EFT and TCOO. In this role, you will:
Execute the development, implementation, and monitoring of a risk-based program for a business or large functional area with moderate to high risk to identify, assess, mitigate operational risk arises from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, systems, or external events.
Execute major Enterprise Risk and Operational Risk programs companywide and independently assess risk management effectiveness of the business or risk areas.
Challenge (or identify issue) operational risk-related business management decisions, activities, operating processes, and mitigating actions. This includes evaluate long term implications and consequences of strategic business decisions and recommend appropriate alternatives for risk management.
Be a Subject Matter Expert in related regulatory requirements and current industry trends and risk events and ability to apply and assess potential impact to the Bank.
Consult to the business on designing solutions and effectively managing change influence and negotiate with various levels of management.
Influence and provide constructive feedback and guidance on enterprise risk framework, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Lead Operational Risk Management initiatives individually or with a virtual team while mentoring and developing less experienced staffs.
Required Qualifications:
7 years of Operational Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
7 years of Technology and Cyber Security risk management or audit experience
Proven experience delivering and synthesizing risk information using simple business risks acumen for Operational Risk Business Oversight Management and Chief Risk Officers
Knowledge of Corporate Functions, Architecture and Operations in financial institutions and ability to assess technical skills to evaluate risks
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to be accountable for driving business outcomes with team and stakeholders
Demonstrated partnership skills with the ability to build trustworthy relationships with team and stakeholders
Risk Management Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 – $300,000.00
