About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Operational Accounting Associate in the Consumer Collections and Servicing Department on the Card Operations Payment Support (COPS) Team. Associates will be assigned to the Payment Adjustments group.
The COPS team is a specialized team that manages exception processes related to consumer and small business credit cards. Members of this team may partner with other internal groups or lines of business (LOBs) but there is no direct customer contact. In this role, you will:
Support performance of less experienced staff and overall effectiveness of team
Proactively provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools
Perform complex administrative transactional and operational support tasks
Participate in research, tracking, and data gathering related to projects
Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to less experienced staff
Interact with team, functional area, internal peers outside work group, and manager on planning and performing analysis, trends, and presentation design
Required Qualifications:
4 years of Analytics and Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge and understanding of credit card operations
Ability to research, analyze, and determine a course of action for the reconciliation of customer accounts
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to working different types of processes as needed
Job Expectations:
Candidate must reside within a reasonable commute to the address listed in the posting

Hybrid Schedule: Working a schedule between the hours 6am-6pm Mon-Fri
