Here’s What You Need

· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required

· Master’s Degree preferred

· Three years of Critical Care experience required

· RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required

· Other – Specialty Certification upon hire preferred

What You Will Do

· Provides leadership and vision for the Neonatal Program in terms of operations, services and patient care, consistent with best practices and evidence-based care. Serves as the Neonatal Program Manager for Neonatal Levels of Care Designation.

· Facilitates the linkage between strategic business lines and provision of an effective and efficient Neonatal Program.

· Maintains current knowledge of clinical practice in care of neonatal patients.

· Demonstrates/models excellence in nursing practice through the utilization of advance concepts in the areas of assessment, diagnosis, implementation and evaluation of acute neonatal patient care.

· Utilizes current research and evidence-based standards of practice to develop, analyze and coordinate a comprehensive plan of patient education activities, including goals assessment, planning, implementation, needed resources and evaluation methods to support improved patient outcomes.

· Facilitates the Neonatal QAPI Plan and multidisciplinary team Neonatal QAPI meetings and case reviews. Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
