What youll do

Guide Data Privacy & Governance program through the entire lifecycle. Maintain expert knowledge of data governance practices, concepts.

Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.

Responsible for coordinating activities and communicating the project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

Develop and maintain process documentation, knowledge management tools, and other department resources.

Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.

Work with other capability leads to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the Data Privacy & Governance product.

Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for leadership and stakeholders.

Ideate and manage new pilots, POCs, RFPs and programs based on strategic business needs.

Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity

Define success metrics and track the evolution, adoption, and impact of the program, implementing improvements as needed.

Provide input to data policy and standards; data governance and management priorities; change management strategies and communication plans; and to the future composition, direction and roles of the data governance program and organizational framework.

Align data governance and management activities to facilitate data-driven decision making across the enterprise.

All youll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training

5 years of relevant experience, preferably in program management.

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

6 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

Prior experience in risk and compliance program management

Proficiency with linear software development life cycles and software development methodologies such as Agile (SAFe) and waterfall.

Experience with Privacy and/or Governance Program Management

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

Excellent communications skills, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management.

Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization

Strong facilitation skills. Must be able to elicit requirements and action items from various personalities across organizational and geographical boundaries.

Must have exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.

Ability to foresee potential issues, devise contingency plans, and navigate complex organizational structures.

Aptitude for understanding, digesting and analyzing complex systems integration.

Ability to work some flexible hours due to varying time zones across

Experience in proposal writing

Demonstrate a curious and independent learning mindset
