CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager, and complete safety training and certifications. Follows all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speaks with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other associates. Complies with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stands, sits, or walks for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Moves, lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, and places objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Safety and Security

• Reports work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor. • Follows company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.

• Follows property specific procedures for handling emergency situations (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters). Policies and Procedures

• Protects the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.

• Ensures uniform, nametags, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional and in compliance with company policies and procedures. • Maintains confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.

• Follows company and department policies and procedures.

• Protects company tools, equipment, machines, or other assets in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Performs other reasonable job duties as requested. Guest Relations

• Welcomes and acknowledges every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting,

using the guests name when possible.

• Engages guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings.

• Actively listens and responds positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property specific process (e.g., LEARN, PLEASED, Guest Response, LEAP) to resolve issues, delight, and build trust.

• Anticipates guests service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and watching/listening to guest preferences and acting on them whenever possible. • Addresses guests service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.

• Assists other associates to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.

• Thanks guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.

• Provides assistance to individuals with disabilities, including assisting visually, hearing, or physically-impaired individuals within guidelines (e.g., escorting them when requested, using words to explain actions, writing directions on paper, moving objects out of the way, or offering access to Braille or TDD phones). Communication

• Speaks to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language.

• Discusses work topics, activities, or problems with coworkers, supervisors, or managers discreetly and quietly, avoiding public areas of the property.

• Talks with and listen to other associates to effectively exchange information.

• Exchanges information with other associates using electronic devices (e.g., pagers and two-way radios, email). Working with Others

• Partners with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals.

• Supports all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.

• Handles sensitive issues with associates and/or guests with tact, respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality.

• Develops and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other associates and departments. Physical Tasks

• Moves, lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, and places objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Starter/Ranger

• Observes and monitors pace of play of golfers to ensure they maintain position on golf course.

• Notifies manager/supervisor of any important issues as necessary.

• Maintains lines of communication with golf shop to ensure efficiency of course operations and guest satisfaction.

• Maintains flow of traffic on golf course by driving around the course on golf cart.

• Checks golfer receipts and start play.

• Distributes score cards and pencils to golfers.

• Escorts non-registered individuals off course.

• Assists in starting special events and in leading groups to their respective holes.

• Removes debris from golf course grounds to

maintain cleanliness of course.

• Answers golfer questions about course, such as game rules, course length, amenities, course conditions, chemicals used on course, and cart rules.

• Set up sponsor signs on golf course grounds before a tournament. Golf Carts and Bags

• Provides directions to golfers to golf and resort-related areas.
