Job Title: 2nd Shift Bindery Operator

Job Description

SHIFT: Monday – Wednesday, 6:00PM – 6:00AM

Job Duties — Operator a print bindery machine by utilizing work orders and loaded programs. Work with a variety of different materials and train on a variety of high-tech, high-quality, digital print machines.

Hard Skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Four years relevant industry experience or experience as a temporary employee with manager approval to hire full-time

Previous experience in printing, manufacturing, distribution, and/or fulfillment

Experience using an ERP system

Ability to communicate/understand written and oral instructions

Ability to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish color

Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up

Basic computer skills

Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Basic measuring skills including Standard and Metric units

Soft Skills

Demonstrate positive safety attitude

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Shakopee, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish colors. Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping. Manual dexterity for repetitive work. Frequent walking and standing.
