The primary responsibility of this position is to provide clean and sanitary dinnerware for use by Dining Service customers as well as clean and sanitary food preparation equipment. 1. Support the mission and vision of Concordia College and demonstrate the competencies as defined for this position. 2. Ensure that dishes, silverware, pans and other foodservice equipment are returned to the serving line or storage areas as soon as possible 25% 3. Maintain supplies such as soap, rinse agent, etc and make sure the supplies are readily available 25% 4. Make sure that instructions are followed on how to run the dishwasher and other equipment correctly and follow all safety practices 20% 5. Ensure a safe and clean dish room, adhering to standards of sanitation and safety as established by local, state, and federal health officials 15% 6. Work with the Student Managers to make sure that all student, on-call and temporary employees are on duty and have clear direction 5% 7. Report any breakdowns to the Residential Dining Manager or Manager on Duty 5% 8. Work with student employees, co-workers, and management in service to our customers and assist with student employee recruitment and retention 5%
