Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC) on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, for someone to contribute to the maintenance and reliability of critical medical equipment.
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Biomedical Equipment Technician to ensure the optimal functioning of medical devices and equipment at MAMC. Your expertise will support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of biomedical equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely
Collaborate with medical staff to provide technical support and training on the use of equipment
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance
Adhere to all safety regulations and standards to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications:
Associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair
Strong knowledge of medical equipment and its operation
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Certification from the International Certification Commission (ICC) as a Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) is preferred but not required
