POSITION: Registered Nurse (ER) – Emergency Room

DUTIES:
Provided direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting.
Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility
indicative of professional expectation with a minimum of supervision.
Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial
needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system.
Communicates with Emergency Department physicians about changes in
patient status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies.
Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or
response to treatment.

REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with at least six months
Registered Nurse experience.
Prefer previous ED or acute care experience. Exceptions made based on
experience and work history.
Current Colorado Registered Nurse license.
TNCC within one year of hire.
Current BCLS certification.
ACLS & PALS required.
One year of Emergency Department experience and 1-2 years of acute care
experience required.

individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
Active Listening Giving full attention to what other people are
saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions
as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Critical Thinking Using logic and reasoning to identify the
strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or
approaches to problems.
Reading Comprehension Understanding written sentences and paragraphs
in work-related documents.
Service Orientation Actively looking for ways to help people.

WAGE: $35.00-$44.05 per hour

SHIFTS: Full-Time, 24/7 Facility – Various Schedules Available
