Assembly Technician III

Responsibilities

Ability to do basic math, read a measuring tape to perform an accurate
job. Ability to work in a fast passed/continue flow of product. Direct
edge and Machine for incoming orders. Displays proficiency in multiple
areas of the department, such as proficiency in the assembly and
evaluation of wood parts, able to distinguish between different wood
species (i.e.: Maple Hickory, Alder, Euro Beech and Oak), ability to
fully comprehend paperwork and documents required to perform the job
accurately, etc.

Requirements

– How to read a measuring tape
– Measuring door fronts, drawers, doors, cabinets to ensure sizes are
correct
– Inspecting cabinets for cleanliness, nails/staples in authorized
areas and ensuring all pieces of cabinets are in compliance
– Placing identification label onto finished cabinet on the completed
jobs once inspected and approved for shipping
– Completing touch-ups/small repairs to paint using paste and spray
cans
– Using scanner when removing cabinets from assembly line due to
missing parts needed
– Must be able to loft 50lbs
– Must be able to put cabinets together using powered tools (staple
gun, Nail Gun).
– must be able to stand/walk 8 to 10 hours
– Must have experience operating machinery such as CNC machines and
Box Machines.
