($20.30/hour – $26.68/hour)

7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Position
The Shipping Clerk manages outgoing shipments, storage, and inventory of completed parts for customers.
Core Responsibilities
Records all information for each package shipped out; determining shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping schedules.
Create shipping documents and pulling inventory from shelves.
Determine method of shipment, proper packages, and inserting parts or supplies to ship
Assemble containers or select preassembled containers; secure cover on wooden crates and bind containers with metal bands.
Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto containers accurately.
Maintains the inventory of shipping materials and supplies
Required Qualifications
Exceptional verbal and written commination skills
Advanced interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to work independently
Detail-oriented
Basic math skills
Understanding of ERP shipping modules required
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Education
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Certificate from a college or technical school directly related to the duties and responsibilities in an inventory-based position preferred
Experience
Minimum of one year of inventory experience preferred
Certifications
Certification on propane and electric forklift required
Computer Skills
Intermediate computer skills
