The Role:
The Bulk Fill Line Associate is responsible for multi-tasking while working on the Bulk Filling Line. The Bulk filler will learn the different grains of salts both Food and Batch. These Salts run on 2 separate lines and the responsibilities would be bagging, weighing, labeling, sealing, erecting cardboard totes, palletizing and moving pallets over to the Finished Goods area.
What Youll Do:
Fulfill large and small orders with skill and precision
Hand fill, and label gourmet packaged products to the required specifications
Manually transfer finished product from conveyor belt to pallet or tote
Start up and stop equipment at the start and end of each day
Move the completed pallet to Finished Goods area
Ensure all orders are Complete, Accurate and On Time for the order fulfillment team
Keep your work area clean and organized at all times. (Audit Ready)
Complete tasks on time to maintain the needs of the production schedule
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Processes, Food Safety Standards and related operational procedures
Other projects and duties as assigned
What Were Looking For:
Fill line experience, strongly preferred
At least one year of production line or manufacturing experience preferred
High school diploma, strongly preferred
Detail oriented with a commitment to quality
Manual and Electric pallet jack experience preferred but not required
Forklift training preferred
Demonstrate the willingness and ability to help other teams as needed
Must exhibit excellent judgement and pay attention to detail when packaging all products
Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and exhibit excellent people skills; must work well with others
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 50- 55 pounds repetitively for 8 hours a day
Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs and bend for an 8hour shift
Able to work an 8 – 9hour shift M-F and flexible to work on Saturdays as needed
Additional Information:
Salary: $18-$21 per hour. This is a non-exempt position.
