Lecturer/Director – School of Education Graduate Programs

The School of Education, in the College of Professional Programs at Eastern Washington University, is currently inviting applications to fill a Lecturer, Director School of Education Graduate Programs faculty position.
The Education Program is seeking a colleague with a strong commitment to students, collegiality, and outside partnerships. The faculty member hired for this position will be welcomed into an academic community dedicated to cultural diversity, community engagement, and social justice.
The Director of Graduate Programs, Educational Leadership and CTE is responsible for managing the smooth operation of graduate programs. The person hired for this position is responsible for recruiting candidates, overseeing courses and faculty, supervision of field experiences, curriculum planning and solving problems related to candidates completion of program requirements.
The expected salary upon hire is $55,509. In addition to the salary the university offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, life and disability insurance and retirement. Required Qualifications:

– A masters degree or higher in educational leadership or administration or related field.
– Completion of a principal, program administrator, or superintendent program and as a CTE Administrator with present or past state certificate in one or more of the areas listed.
– At least four (4) years of experience in educational leadership and CTE administration.
– Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
– Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with varying deadlines.
– Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
– Experience in higher education.
– Demonstrated organizational skills.
– Ability to interact professionally with others.
– Demonstrated successful collaboration with stakeholders.
– At least three (3) years experience in leadership coaching, mentoring, or leading other leaders in educational settings.
– At least four (4) years of demonstrated experience implementing school-wide improvement plans or data-informed change.
– Demonstrated ability to apply a culturally responsive and ?exible approach that is supportive to the diverse needs, including universal accessibility, of our students, faculty, staff and the public.

Preferred Qualifications:

PhD or EdD in Education or related ?eld.

Knowledge of the frameworks and experience administering Washington State TPEP evaluation for teachers and administrators or equivalent.

Washington State Principal, Program Administrator, CTE Administrator, or Superintendent Certificate, present or past.

Knowledge of Washington State CTE standards and requirements.

Knowledge and evidence of application of AWSP Leadership Framework.

Experience in technology including Excel, Canvas, and other platforms.

Experience teaching in higher education.
