2nd shift Industrial Plumber

How you will do it

– Assists Electricians, Welders, and Assemblers as necessary for
projects as time allows.
– Problem-solving skills.
– Able to braze AND solder copper pipe 4.
– Maintains a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance,
and repair techniques.
– Able to work with PVC pipe
– Experience with power tools.
– Performs other assigned work as required.
– Must be able to read blueprints and follow SOPs.

Required:

– Proven experience as an industrial plumber, with a strong
understanding of industrial plumbing systems.
– This position requires shop work. When working in the shop, one must
exercise caution as this environment presents many naturally
occurring and potentially worker-produced hazards.Safety policies
must be always adhered to. Personal protective equipment (i.e.,
safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and others) must be always worn
where required.
– It is very important that the incumbent of this position can work
and communicate with prudence, while effectively managing time,
completing tasks, and working safely.
– Completion of college/vocational or technical training preferred.
– Appropriate credentials and certifications.
– Ability to work shift work.
– Ability to work in small spaces.
– Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
– Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allows one to
work effectively in a diverse working environment.
– Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
– Able to work well under pressure.
– Strong attention to detail.
– Able to deal with people tactfully, diplomatically, and
professionally at all times.
– Other duties as assigned.
