JOB DESCRIPTION:
Career Development Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting strategies to guide qualified students in their healthcare career path within the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Travel will be required including occasional overnights.
Understands the value and promotes career development within our facilities and schools
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers.
Schedules interviews and assists with the interview process
Collaborates with local schools to create a pathway for long term career goals.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
Manage all communication with candidates from the moment they apply until they get on onboard
Develops relationships with clinical instructors to implement rotations in our facilities
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
2 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process preferred or prior work in education
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources preferred
Excellent recruiting, verbal, and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
