Summary You will serve as a CONTACT REPRESENTATIVE (OA) of NMRTC CHARLESTON SC. Responsibilities You will communicate with representatives from area Operational Commands regarding the appointment, reevaluation and medical board process for their personnel. You will assist the program managers with counseling, explaining policies, identifying regulations, and completing procedures pertaining to the individuals particular type of medical board. You will update related program applications including the Veterans Tracking Application (VTA) and Limited Duty Sailor and Marine Readiness Tracker (LIMDU SMART) throughout the LIMDU and DES processes and as directed by the program manager. You will assist the PEBLO and Deployability Coordinator with scheduling, planning and updating data reports for the monthly Temporary Limited Duty Operations Program Board (TEMPO). You will provide administrative assistance with all aspects of the DES program and TDRL service members to include counseling and education on the DES process, appointment scheduling, case file maintenance, scanning and releasing medical records. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing knowledge of all policy, guidance and program activities sufficient to carry out duties that support the PEBLO. Experience utilizing knowledge of the healthcare delivery system, medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology, procedures, major diseases and injuries, military and civilian medical organizational structure. Experience utilizing general knowledge of all Patient Administration programs. Experience utilizing comprehensive knowledge of Limited Duty program.
