Mobile Service Truck Technician

Primary Function:
To provide a mobile service performing mechanical repairs to the truck/trailer fleet within a 75 mile radius.

Essential Position Responsibilities:

– Must possess a valid driver license
– Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record
– Must complete DOT Medical Examiner physical
– Performs DOT inspections, minor light repairs, tire maintenance, minor body repairs, and other repairs and services as necessary
– Be flexible for reassignment to other projects throughout the shift
– Act professionally and respectfully toward drivers and the motoring public through all actions and behaviors
– Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Prefer experience with DOT inspections according to FMCSA regulations
– Computer proficient
– Technical abilities
– Must be able to make decisions and establish work priorities
– A high level of accuracy is required
– Excellent communication skills
– Required to work in varying weather conditions, all work will be exposed to the elements
– Bending, pushing, lifting min.50 lbs., twisting, squatting, and stooping as needed
