Job Summary:
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of hardware and software components to ensure the smooth operation of the Business. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, installing and configuring computer hardware and software, Office 365 & Microsoft Teams support, supporting multiple OS levels including Android, working closely with other teams within the clients IT and to be the primary point of contact for local IT support. This position will also participate in driving business process changes through technology and who works well independently or in a group to develop technical strategies. The Technical Support Specialist will be expected to work closely with vendors and external support representatives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues across the company
Provide First Level support to End-User devices & Peripherals
(PCs, Laptops, Tablets, Android Devices, Printers, Scanners, Etc.)
Support the network infrastructure for the client
Device replacements on a routine schedule according to warranty
Deploy new technology and devices to users and on the shop floor
Accurate documentation of work process
Utilize the clients ITSM software for work performed
Be a technical resource, provide planning, and drive execution for special projects while still performing current job duties
Assist in communication to End-Users regarding changes, upgrades or planned outages
Strictly follow guidance and regulations provided by the clients Information Security
strong attention to detail and to maintain safety in the workplace
Preferred Job Requirements:
strong experience supporting Windows Operating Systems, Android Devices, Configuration Manager, Active Directory and corporate Networks
Associates Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or comparable program
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or comparable program preferred
5 years work experience providing support in a related field
