FIBER DESIGNER to build out a design team of a growing company!

SCHEDULE/ENVIRONMENT: 100% Remote Opportunity

DESCRIPTION: As a Fiber Designer, you will be responsible for developing and designing detailed Outside Plant (OSP) system layouts.

Develop and Design Detailed OSP System Layouts, including Route Analysis, Fiber Optic Cable Placement, Pole Line and Underground Conduit Systems, and other Related Infrastructure

Telecom Design and Documentation of OSP and Fiber Design, Documentation, Specifications, and Construction Administration

Perform Field Surveys and Site Visits to Collect Data and Assess Potential Construction Challenges

Create Detailed Drawings and Maps using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Software

Work closely with Municipal Authorities and other Utility Services to obtain necessary Permits and ensure compliance with Local, State, and Federal Regulations

Monitor Project Progress, providing updates and adjustments to Designs as needed to address Field Changes and Challenges

Analyze and select Appropriate Materials and Technologies to Optimize Network Performance and Cost-Efficiency

MUST HAVES

Design experience within ArcGIS (Geographic Information Systems)

Fiber Splice diagram creation

Fiber to the Home experience

Experience with OH/UG Fiber placements
