Job Description:
The Value Analysis Team Optimization Analyst is an enterprise role crucial in leveraging data into actionable insights that will drive strategic opportunities and support the value analysis process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization tools, an understanding of healthcare data and metrics, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This position aims to maximize the impact of our Value Analysis Teams (VATs) and support organizational goals.
Job Duties:
Leverage Data Systems and Tools:
Utilize advanced data systems and tools to generate and identify strategic opportunities for the Value Analysis Teams (VATs).
Integrate various data sources to create comprehensive and actionable insights.
Collect, analyze, and interpret complex healthcare data from various sources.
Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
Create Data Visualizations:
Develop and maintain sophisticated data visualizations to communicate complex data clearly and effectively.
Present data-driven insights to clinical resource specialists and category management to support informed decision-making.
Utilize advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create intuitive and informative visual representations of data.
VAT Performance Monitoring:
Provide regular reports and updates to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of VAT initiatives and programs.
Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement based on data analysis.
Create and Monitor Compliance Dashboards:
Develop and maintain compliance dashboards to track adherence to established protocols and standards.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent and reliable performance.
Communication and Collaboration:
Work closely with the Clinical Resource Specialist to align data analysis with clinical insights and requirements.
Support collaborative efforts to drive value and improve patient outcomes.
Work closely with clinical, operational, and executive teams to understand data needs and provide tailored analytical support.
Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Data Management:
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing and maintaining robust data management practices.
Develop and document data standards, policies, and procedures.
Strategic Insights:
Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive organizational improvements.
Support the development and implementation of data-driven strategies and initiatives.
Analyze diverse data sets, including cost, outcome, reimbursement, and utilization, to identify opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role within a healthcare supply chain environment
Knowledge of healthcare data sources, metrics, and industry standards
Experience with SQL, data warehousing, and data management best practices
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree
Experience working with clinical data
In-depth knowledge of value analysis processes and supply chain management principles is highly desirable
Skills
Exceptional analytical skills, with a proven ability to analyze complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to present data effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including clinical and operational stakeholders.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
