IT Specialist Mid

Description:

A TEKsystems client is looking for an IT Specialist Mid to support a long term contract opportunity on site in Crane, Indiana. The candidate will be supporting a DoD contract which maintains connectivity across multiple countries. This person will be responsible for install, configuration, service, repair, and maintenance of IT systems, hardware/software, and networking devices.

This person interacts with the customer to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context and organizational strategic direction. Collects, identifies, defines and organizes detailed user and information technology requirements. Coordinates and collaborates with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations. Assists information engineers on application of special knowledge to coding, testing, implementation and documentation projects.

Requirements:

Secret clearance

SecurityCE certification

Experience providing break-fix support for desktop PCs, laptops, & network peripherals.
