Salary/Wage: $45 per hour

Job Type: Full Time Contractor

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain strong standards and expectations for both student behavior and achievement.

Teach AP Chemistry, Chemistry, and Physics, with a strong preference for candidates who can cover all three subjects.

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and foster student understanding and growth.

Utilize a variety of instructional methods and pedagogical practices to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.

Assess and measure student progress through various forms of evaluation, providing timely and constructive feedback.

Integrate technology into daily instruction, modeling digital citizenship and leveraging a 1:1 technology environment to enhance learning.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student success and well-being.

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in science education.

Take on additional roles such as coaching or co-curricular advisory positions, as available and needed.
