Job Description
Were looking for an industrial maintenance mechanic with a heavy electrical experience for a growing manufacturing company. This company is expanding and adding space, so they need individuals to come in and help this effort of expansion and growth.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a small team of Maintenance Technicians to share PM duties and address unplanned mechanical issues on all equipment, including Extrusion Machines, Automated Industrial Machines (Allen Bradley & Siemens PLC controls), HVAC, chillers, boilers, forklifts, and additional manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot PLC’s, electrical systems, gear boxes, drive systems, conveyors, and all mechanical systems in a timely manner to keep production moving.
Evaluate and improve the processes and procedures that drive the preventive maintenance program, ensuring it provides proper service coverage for each piece of equipment.
Analyze unplanned equipment downtime to establish root causes and ensure proper corrective actions are taken.
Ensure the department has adequate resources for preventive maintenance inspection, repair, and continual improvement.
Continually improve troubleshooting techniques for machine failures and implement those techniques into standard operating procedures.
Work with the President and CFO to understand long-range capital plans and ensure PM programs are established for all new equipment.
Predict when capital equipment needs major refurbishment or replacement and ensure long-range capital plans include the cost.
Work Environment
Shift: 2-2-3 Schedule, 7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM
