Tax Accountant

JOB REQUIREMENTS: One of our Stevens Point area accounting firm clients
is seeking an experienced tax accountant preferably with a CPA. This is
a temp to hire opportunity! Hours for this position will be
Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm with an added Saturday morning shift
mid-January through mid-April working 9am-12pm. Summer hours include
Monday-Friday with a 1/2 day of work on Fridays for the months of June
through November. Will be working aside several CPAs in servicing
customer accounts and providing general accounting and bookkeeping
services, as well as individual taxes. OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: -Knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred -Familiarity with
SAGE or similar accounting software is beneficial -Must have
intermediate Excel skills -Knowledge of personal income tax law and the
ability to prepare individual income tax returns -Ability to prepare
Partnership and S-Corporation income tax returns (Experience desired)
