Job Title: Utility Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Utility Workers. The role includes operating a forklift (stand up & sit down) and an overhead crane. We hire individuals who can fill one or more of the most common positions in our plant. These positions typically include:

Coater Helper: An entry-level role working on a paper coating machine. This physically demanding position requires lifting, walking, climbing stairs, operating Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV), and performing other essential functions. Most employees start as a helper and advance to positions with greater responsibility. Typically, 4 to 5 people work on a coater team.

Winder Helper: This role involves working on a winding machine that converts paper to the required length and width. Employees may also assist in packaging the product for the next step in the process. A winder crew usually consists of 2 to 3 people who work as a team, although each person has individual responsibilities.

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

This is a large environment, comparable to a football field setup. Candidates will need to walk significant distances, operate forklifts to transport products, and load machines. The facility is large, well-lit, and has an old school feel with some very large machinery. It can be dirty and dusty at times due to the materials being produced and shipped.
