About the role: Reporting to AVP of Lending, performs lending duties
relative to the custodial responsibilities of member mortgage and loan
accounts. Functions as arbiter with members in resolution of loan
inquiries and takes corrective steps to ensure compliant and safe
oversight of the member loans. As the Keeper of the Records, this role
is responsible for all loan accounts. Provides periodic reporting of
loan status and analysis. Interacts with auditors and governmental
examiners to supply requested information and review. Maintains
up-to-date policy and procedures manuals for the loan servicing area.
Responsibilities include: Assist in development and communication of
loan procedures and objectives as they relate to consumer, commercial
and real estate lending activity and control. Manages Loan Servicing
staff, completes annual employee performance evaluations, and provides
guidance and direct supervision throughout the year. Assigns workflow
and responsible for completion of projects while delegating and training
staff to handle same. Develop and implement system control changes as
directed for final resolution or development of loan product. Conducts
annual Escrow Analysis of member accounts to ensure compliance with
Federal and State escrow handling rules and regulations. Interacts with
third party providers to ensure timely and accurate payment of member
property taxes and/or insurance policy premiums. Ensures payment of
invoices to third party vendors for insurances sold by Naveo and for
vendors providing lien perfection services. Assists staff in the
maintenance of higher-level account corrections and ensure quality
control steps are implemented. Handles ADV Reponses through E-Oscar.
Prepares reports for management and ad hoc reports as requested.
Oversees and reviews the on-boarding of new loans on loan servicing
system and final disbursement and reconciliation to Naveo general ledger
system. Reviews and/or prepares all requests for lien release and
discharges to ensure loan has paid-off with collectable funds and in
appropriate fashion. Resolves loan discrepancies on monthly/daily basis
Ensures all loan modifications contain authorized approvals and
maintenance is completed on the system of record and communicated to the
member. Serves as primary contact with investors and partners in
reporting monthly activity of sold and participated loans, and
reviews/reconciles reports covering loans bought or participations
purchased from other institutions. Reviews all ECR reports from FHLB.
Prepare loan files for monthly review by Credit Committee and prepares
Credit Committee Minutes, assists in creation of Call Reports. Keeps up
to date on State and Federal laws/regulations related to loan servicing.
Assume other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time to
advance the department objectives. Requirements Our ideal candidate
looks like: Education/Experience: ? Bachelor?s degree preferred ? Six to
eight years related experience ? Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office,
including EXCEL and Outlook. ? Preference for experience in COCC
platform, Insight, CoreLogic, and Encompass
