Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Marriott. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The Night Auditor is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by assisting guests with check-ins, check-outs, and other guest-related services. This role also performs the night audit process to ensure the accuracy of financial records, reconciling daily transactions and reports in accordance with Marriotts standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude upon arrival.
– Efficiently check-in and check-out guests, ensuring all information is correct.
– Assist with guest reservations, room changes, and special requests.
– Handle guest inquiries and provide information regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
– Address and resolve guest complaints or issues in a professional and courteous manner.
– Process payments, including credit card transactions and room charges.
– Ensure the front desk and lobby areas are clean and presentable at all times.
– Perform nightly audits of hotel financial activities and reconcile all accounts for the day.
– Balance the day’s transactions, including room charges, food and beverage sales, and other financial data.
– Prepare and distribute daily management reports summarizing financial activity.
– Ensure that all guest accounts are accurate and up to date.
– Address late check-ins and process night reservations.
– Act as the point of contact for any guest needs or emergencies during overnight hours.
Job Requirements:
– Prior experience in customer service or hotel front desk roles is preferred. Previous night audit experience is a plus.
– Familiarity with FOSSE.
– Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
– Accuracy in handling financial transactions and data.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, particularly during overnight shifts.
The hourly rate of pay for this position is $24.
