Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Clinical Service Director to join their leadership team. In this role, you will work closely with the Clinical Service Director to oversee the daily operations of interdisciplinary teams and participant outcomes. You will play a key role in ensuring integrated, high-quality care across multiple settings, including our Day Health Centers, Diagnostic & Treatment Centers, and home health services. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, skilled in care coordination, quality assurance, and staff development, with a commitment to delivering exceptional care to frail and elderly populations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support site-based managers and clinical staff, including rehabilitation, nutrition, social work, and home services teams.
Lead care planning meetings, ensuring timely execution and resolution of any disagreements regarding patient care.
Oversee development and implementation of personalized care plans aimed at improving participant outcomes and satisfaction.
Monitor and allocate resources for interdisciplinary teams (IDT) to ensure appropriate staff coverage and assignment.
Implement staff training and development initiatives to support team advancement.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance processes, contributing to successful certification and audit outcomes.
Investigate and resolve participant grievances and customer service issues in a timely manner.
Ensure accurate and complete participant documentation, including medical records, enrollment, and disenrollment.
Collaborate with clinical departments to improve care delivery processes and treatment protocols.
Monitor key metrics to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care that meets participants needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
BSN preferred; completion of an accredited Nursing Program is required.
Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience in a management role within healthcare (e.g., CHHA, LHCSA, acute care, nursing home).
At least one (1) year of experience working with frail or elderly populations, or the ability to receive appropriate training.
Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Proficiency in using computers for documentation, email, and research.
Must meet physical and cognitive requirements essential to the job.

The salary range for this position is $125,000-$130,000/year
