Job DescriptionThe Food Production Supervisor assists Facility Leadership in overall management and supervision of production Team Members in the Micro Kitchen facility. This role supports all aspects of daily kitchen operations including profitability, expense control, buying, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities:
O versee Team Member recipe execution and ensure adherence to all recipe specifications.
Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation to maintain consistency.
Enforce hygiene and sanitation standards to comply with food safety regulations.
Ensure proper rotation and storage of ingredients and supplies within the facility .
Follow and comply with established packing protocols and procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
Adhere to recipe instructions, build guides, and packaging sheets, ensuring precise execution according to specifications.
Complete all required daily documentation for FSMA, HACCP, Metal detection, and all other logs as required for the facility.
Maintain accurate packaging of products and ensure correct labeling, batch, and pack dates are applied.
Open and close kitchen facility according to established procedures.
Ensure all necessary breaks are given during each shift.
Communicate team concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
Assist in training of new Team Members, utilizing learning checklists and training materials .
Train and mentor Team Members on proper food handling, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
Build a positive work environment of outstanding teamwork and mutual respect .
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of, and ensure compliance with relevant regularity rules and standards, including OSHA, FMLA, HACCP, FSMA, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Department of Labor, Health and Sanitation, FDA, Department of Agriculture, Weights and Measures.
Qualifications:
1-2 year s of experience in a kitchen production facility environment.
Basic understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, environmental health and safety, and OSHA .
Basic computer skills; proficiency in select Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); and ability to learn custom applications .
Basic understanding of ERP processes within a food manufacturing environment preferred .
Ability to work well with others, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with little supervision .
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the facility, including nights, weekends and holidays as required .
Ability to build strong partnerships with key stakeholders including Team Members, customers suppliers, and regulators .

Ability to perform physical requirements of position .
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must adhere to company dress code and standards of production kitchen dress and PPE (personal protective equipment).
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with reasonable accommodation.
Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
May require use of ladders.
The wage range for this position is $21.00 – $28.50 Hourly, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers “Whole Benefits”.
