We are currently seeking a Data Admin / File Share Specialist to join our dedicated team. As a key contributor, you will provide crucial support to our esteemed client located in Norfolk, VA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and administer databases and/or data management systems that allow for the secure storage, query, and utilization of data.

• Conduct data integration, data modeling, analytics modeling, and data mining.

• Identify and describe data elements and data files/tables required to complete assigned projects and make recommendations regarding the creation of analytical reports.

• Ensure the reports and statistical data developed achieves client organizational and/or business goals.

• Monitor performance and manage parameters to provide fast query responses to frontend users.

• Identify significant differences, relationships, and trends in data as well as factors that could affect the results of statistical research.

• Perform data mining, analysis, and reporting to support client organizations and initiatives.

• Perform various statistical analyses using data drawn from diverse sources to map and identify genuine trends and relationships.

• Develop the conceptual design for a planned statistical database in outline; consider both backend organization of data and frontend accessibility for customers; refine the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model; and maintain data standards.

• Develop database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definition.

• Reduce file-shares and miscellaneous folders to a structured standard.

• Conduct file share and disk space management.

• Apply security groups to the file-share to protect data from unauthorized access.

• Monitor and manage disk allocation and network resources.

• Perform network scans, permission assignment, and active directory updates.

• Add, delete, and modify user access to the network resources; manage account profiles, permissions, and access to resources.

• Perform permissions modifications on files, folders, shares, and create new shared items.

• Provide design and technical support, assistance, and training for data management, analysis, interoperability, database/dashboard design and development, data standardization and maintenance.

• Develop, maintain, and update Access Databases and or tools on SharePoint 2013 or higher for the purpose of IT asset management to capture, query, and report on inventory status.

• Manage the command At-Hoc system (or current system) for personnel recall and command notifications.

• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide updates quarterly or as tasked.

• Submit, track, and monitor Flank Speed accounts. Manage delivery restrictions required by Flank Speed distribution list and shared mailboxes.

• Submit Flank Speed Migrations, DEPO Entitlement Changes, Persona Changes, and Licensing Requests to USFF for inclusion in master migrations performed by PEO Digital.

• Reconnect user NMCI accounts to the users respective Flank Speed account.

Skills/Qualifications/Education Requirements:

Qualifications:

CompTIA SecurityCE

Possess a valid Drivers License.

Experience:

Six (6) years of related IT data management experience.

Minimum of three (3) years job-related experience in managing large datasets and translating the data into meaningful reports for various users and upper-level management.

Minimum of two (2) years job-related experience working with Active Directory and managing permissions of network shares and resources.

Experience with Access 2016 and SharePoint 2013.

Skills Needed:

Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) with Government civilian, Military personnel, and other Contractors at all levels of staff and management to assure customer satisfaction and requirements have been fully met.
